CETUS will in no way be liable for any prejudice caused to the user by access or, in any case, connection to the website and its use, including any damage to the user’s equipment caused by computer viruses. Privacy Notice 


We would like to inform you that according to Law ZVOP-2 (Slovenia), the personal data you have provided to CETUS will be processed in compliance with the individual’s fundamental rights and dignity, with particular reference to privacy, personal identity and the right to personal data protection.

For all users of the site:
Personal information about users of the site can be used to collect anonymous statistical information on usage of the site, to monitor the proper operations of the site, and to verify responsibilities if necessary in the event of crimes committed that harm the site, the owner, or third parties.

With reference to users that register with the site: In addition to the purposes described above, information about users who register with the site will be processed in order to:

1 – To inform the customer about new services and products. Such information will be sent to the customers by CETUS directly. 2 – To customize advertisements according to the customers’ preferences, should they have any. 3 – To facilitate and optimize other services by providing third-party suppliers with the customer’s personal data. 4 – For marketing purposes and to send advertising material.

The data treatment holder is IN COMPOSITE D.O.O head office at Dobrovlje, Dobrava 40, Zreče, 3214, Slovenia. Provision of data is optional; treatment of data is also optional and will be carried out only to fulfil points 1. to 4. above. Personal information is processed by automated means, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.

Processing of personal information related to WEB services of this site is handled only by personnel delegated to processing by the Controller or the Processor or by external staff for occasional system maintenance operations delegated by the Controller. Clearly, users are free to decide whether or not to provide their information by entering it in the registration forms. The decision not to provide information or to deny consent to processing of said information may make it impossible to complete your registration, and therefore impossible to use the service requested. The personal information of registered users may be communicated to third parties who provide the goods/services available on the site as well as those who perform data analysis for statistical purposes, to partners and affiliates, and in any event within the limits of the purposes of the processing described above. This communication may be made both to parties inside Slovenia and those located abroad in countries belonging to the European Union or outside it. The information may also be communicated to third parties delegated for site maintenance by the Data controller, under the latter’s control.

Customers may contact the holder or one of its representatives to assert their rights in accordance with art. 11 to art. 13 of the above-mentioned code in order to obtain, with no extra charge or delay, information about the origin and treatment of their personal data – the way they have been treated, updated, modified and completed.

CETUS will use all the necessary and available measures to avoid both unlawful and inappropriate use of the gathered data as well as its unsolicited modification. Access to the information provided is allowed to authorized personnel only. Cetus’s employees who have access to our database are bound to stick to very strict rules. Cetus adopts adequate control and protection measures to avoid any infringement of the regulations cited above.


CETUS guarantees, to the original purchase only, that an Cetus product purchased from any Authorized Cetus Reseller worldwide will be free of defects in material or workmanship under normal recreational diving use. The Cetus product warranty may differ for each piece of equipment and may differ by model year. Usually it is limited to a period of 2 years from the date of consumer’s purchase of the product unless otherwise specified (e.g. carbon fibre fins warranty is 5 years from manufacturing date). This date must be verified by a valid sales document (tax receipt or sales receipt). For some categories and countries extended warranty policies not described herein may be applicable. Warranty claims are only accepted upon return of the defective complete product with the warranty certificate completed in full and signed by the Authorized Cetus reseller, and accompanied by a valid sales document (tax receipt or sales receipt) showing the date of purchase. Cetus reserves the right to refuse free service if the required documentation cannot be provided or if information is incomplete, illegible, or incorrect.

Warranty claims have to be submitted to Cetus or to the authorized Cetus products reseller where the product was purchased within two months from detection. The authorized reseller will deliver the product to Cetus or will be repaired at reseller or customer itself with original Cetus spareparts.
If the product had been purchased within the Warranty Period, as evidenced by the documentation requested above, and proves to be defective for any reason (other than those listed in the limitations) Cetus will repair or replace the defect product at its own discretion at no charge with the exception of shipping costs to Cetus which is the sole responsibility of the consumer. Cetus reserves the right to replace the claimed product with a similar product of comparable value in case of unavailability of the defect product. All parts of the product or the product that Cetus has replaced shall become the property of Cetus. Any repaired or replaced product (or part) extends the original warranty beyond the period of 2 years for another similar period from original date of repair / replacement. If the product is found not to be covered by the terms and conditions of this warranty, Cetus reserves the right to charge a handling fee. In case the Cetus product was purchased abroad the regional Cetus distributor of your home country will render the respective warranty service. Please note that the regional Cetus distributor / reseller is entitled to charge handling fees and all other freight and duty expenses related to a warranty claim for purchases made abroad. Cetus will refuse warranty service if the product was NOT purchased directly from us or from an Authorized Cetus Reseller / dealer as listed in this page.

Only defects or damages resulting from a failure in material or workmanship are covered by the Cetus warranty program. Other defects or damages, in particular those listed below, are not covered by our warranty: Defects or damage caused by normal use and wear, defects or damage caused by heavy, unusual, or incorrect use, or use under abnormal conditions (blows, jerks, falls, bumps, etc.), defects or damages caused by lack of or incorrect maintenance or through negligence, defects or damages known or evident at the time of purchase of the product, clear defects or damage tacitly accepted, that did not interfere with the product’s operation, scratches or damage to the plastic surfaces, glass, and all other external areas due to normal use of the product, defects or damages caused by cleaning materials or other substances containing aggressive chemicals (solvents, surfactants, aggressive cleansers, etc.), defects or damages resulting from alterations and changes made to the products without authorization, defects or damages caused by improper assembly of the components, defects or damages caused by failure to follow product instructions in the User’s Manual, defects or damages caused by prolonged use of the product in chlorinated or polluted water, defects or damages caused by exposing the product to excessive temperatures, fire, or prolonged exposure to sunlight. All components subject to normal wear and tear (O-Rings, filters, light bulbs, batteries, rubber parts, silicone parts, latex, neoprene, zippers, plastic parts, metal parts etc.) are not covered by the warranty unless it can be shown that the problem is a manufacturing defect. This warranty does not cover equipment used for rental, military or commercial purposes.

CETUS will provide the user or distributor with all spare parts, technical documentation and know-how to repair and maintain the products. The user / distributor accepts the conditions that he will do his best to help solve warranty cases and product maintenance, as this avoids the additional costs of sending the product from the manufacturer to the user and reduces the carbon footprint of the product.

Limitation of Liability 

CETUS shall not be liable for any injury or damage that may, directly or indirectly, occur to persons, things, or animals resulting from the use of this product. CETUS shall not be liable for damage resulting from the failure to observe the full content of the Instruction Manual especially instructions concerning the use and maintenance of the product. CETUS will not be held responsible for any agreements written or oral except of those that are a part of this warranty statement. CETUS company’s entire liability shall be limited to repair or replacement of the product at CETUS  company’s option. CETUS  will not pay any compensation for any inconveniences which might be caused by the inability to use the product or for any potential expenses incurred while the product is being repaired or replaced.

Each time a person buys an Cetus product, an email requesting a review is automatically sent 2 weeks after the initial order to the address provided when registering. One can opt in or out of giving a review. That way we can truly verify that one is a user and not a random person on the web or a bot. 

Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after ordering your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in it’s original packaging. You’ll also need to provide proof of purchase.

  1. Treatment of damaged shipments (damages)

In the event that the shipment is damaged in any way, the content is missing or shows any signs of opening, the buyer must initiate a complaint procedure with the delivery service.

Damaged goods must be photographed so that the damaged package or packaging and the label of the delivery service can be clearly seen, from which the package number can be deduced. When complaining about delivery, please inform us at the e-mail address info@cetus-spearfishing.com

  1. Claiming of rights arising from a material error

You can claim a material defect for all products that you believe do not have the properties necessary for its normal use or  it does not have the properties required for the specific use for which you purchased the product. You can claim a material error within two months from the discovery of the alleged error. A defect in a product shall be deemed to have existed at the time of delivery if it occurs within three months of delivery. The buyer will be informed about the method of resolving the complaint within 8 days of receiving the goods.

The consumer must describe the defect in more detail in the defect notification and allow the provider to inspect the product. If the defect is not disputed, the provider must comply with the consumer’s request as soon as possible. If there is a dispute about the defect, the provider must give the consumer a written answer.
